Guide 3 · Welcome
Make RGN useful to you
You can use different parts of Runners Gateway as they become useful to you.
Pathway is for understanding. Read about starting, walking, routines and the questions that come up along the way. You can revisit a guide whenever it helps. Members can keep a private record of their reading progress.
Training is for plans and sessions. Browse the published plans without an account. If you want a personal copy with dates and saved progress, you can join RGN and manage it in Training. Marking a Pathway guide as read does not complete a training session.
Monthly Focus offers a timely prompt. It gives you another way to take part, including during a period when you are not following a plan. The Weekly Quiz is there for a little running-related fun.
If you join, your Run Card introduces you and Explore helps you find people. Journey is where you can keep your story and choose what you share. Some completed activities can create a Journey milestone using your default audience, which begins as Private. Check that default and the audience on an individual entry. Your detailed Training progress, notes and Pathway reading record remain private.
For example, you might read Walking counts today, browse plans another day, and return to Pathway when you want help fitting activity into a changing week. You can also simply read a useful article and leave it there.
Take one next step: browse Pathway, find a training plan, or read Your first outing. You can explore the rest when you have a reason to.
