Guide 2 · Welcome
Find your starting point
Start with the question you have today. You can follow Pathway in order, but you can also go straight to a guide that helps and return for more later.
If this is new to you, try Your first outing. It gives you a practical picture of getting out, keeping the outing manageable and noticing what you would like to change next time.
If you have been here before, try Starting again. Your experience still matters, even when your time, fitness or priorities have changed.
If you want to walk, start with Walking counts. Walking belongs here whether or not you ever choose to run.
If you are active in another sport, Active already and new to running is for people bringing fitness and experience to something new. Being familiar with exercise and being familiar with running are different starting points.
If you already have a routine, browse the subjects in Build, or explore Transform if you are interested in movement’s place in your wider life.
And if you came looking for a schedule, go to Training. You can read a plan there and check whether its starting point and commitment fit you.
You may recognise yourself in more than one description. Choose the one that answers your most immediate question. Reading every introduction is optional.
A useful first decision: finish this sentence for yourself: “What I would most like help with is…” Then choose a guide that addresses it.
