Transform · Reflect And Move Forward

Past, Present, And Future

Your running and walking journey does not happen in isolation.

It is connected to where you have been, where you are now, and the future you are quietly building.

Looking at all three can help you move with more compassion and direction.

The Past

Your past may include failed starts, injuries, criticism, embarrassment, busy seasons, or times when looking after yourself was not possible.

You do not need to pretend none of that happened.

But you also do not need to let it write the whole story.

Ask: what have I learned from the way things used to be?

The Present

The present is where the next small action lives.

Not the perfect future plan. Not the old story. Today.

What does your body need? What does your mind need? What would count as showing up in this season?

The Future

Future vision gives your effort direction.

That might be completing a 5K, feeling confident at parkrun, walking regularly with someone you love, having more energy, or becoming someone who trusts themselves again.

The future does not need to be loud to matter.

Suggested Reflection

Write three short notes:

  • Past: one lesson I am carrying forward
  • Present: one thing that counts today
  • Future: one direction I want to move toward
