@avallach
In 2012 i started on a fitness journey that was the net result of over a decade of personal development (mostly reading and thinking) up to that point… The journey to date has taken me to several marathon and ultramarathon start lines, and finish lines, it has seen me take part in a number of sprint triathlon events, it even took me from Perth to Brisbane on foot… It has also taken me to unexpected experiences, provided a number of setbacks, and taught me more a lot about myself.
Anyone can do anything that they allow themselves to believe, and ordinary people really can do extraordinary things. If i can do it, anyone can!

Initially thought this was going to go down as a run that only happened because of a strong established habit. Ended up enjoying it

Restarting #WalkRunAchieve from the start of phase 3 - this is the first run of week 1 (of 9).
As noted in the activity notes, it was hard initially, but thankfully got into a bit of a rhythm.

After what feels like an eternity of licking my “wounds”, I got back to it this morning
Most likely next step will be to restart phase 3 - pretty much the classic “couch to 5k” part of #WalkRunAchieve

Finally felt energised enough to get back into it all - have labelled this as Week ? as it has become the non-week between W18 and W19

Today has been a little on the flat side - and honestly I am not surprised. The walk yesterday left me feeling a little like I had run a marathon, and I spent most of the day resting and recovering.
The legs are a little heavy today, and my feet are sore (especially the blister on my big toe!)
So today I've limited myself to just 1km of walking, have continued to hydrate, and hope to fit in a longer (but not stupidly long) recovery walk tomorrow.
I'm still happy I did that walk though

Decided to use the public holiday to catch up the gap 2025km running tally. Initial thought was to walk for 2 hours and then head back, then I thought “why not” to rounding it to 10km each way… and while I was doing it, my brain said “half marathon” and I stupidly replied with a “yes”
Probably should have done 10km total, but I at least now have a good baseline of where my body and feet are at. Oh and a lovely right big toe blister as a bonus
